TEDx San Antonio

In October of last year, I had the pleasure of attending TEDx San Antonio. I've been thinking about the presentations ever since--letting them "marinate", if you will. They were all great. I've finally compiled my top three favorites:

  1. Sam Milsap, former District Attorney, presents a compelling argument against the death penalty.
  2. Aaron Delwiche explains how, in this technological era, we are all programmers.
  3. Graham Weston, CEO of Rackspace, explains how Hurricane Katrina helped him create a workplace of inspired employees.

Papalote Creek Wind Farm

Friday I had an opportunity to visit the Papalote Creek Wind Farm near Corpus Christi in South Texas. Owned and operated by E.On Climate & Renewables North America, the farm consists of 196 turbines across an expansive area of cotton and grain farmland. Here's some of the highlights and a few pictures.

Kaitlyn Is Famous...And 3!

A recent project for one of my classes required the production of a YouTube video. The assignment was to create a video to generate awareness of a new--in our case fictional--idea, good, or service. Of course I used all the assets at my disposal. See why Kaitlyn Is Famous.

Tuesday Kaitlyn celebrated her third birthday. Here are some pictures.
